This beautifully paced route begins in majestic Prague, then arcs west to spa-rich Karlovy Vary and beer-famed Pilsen, south to fairy-tale Český Krumlov, and across to Renaissance Telč and the wine town of Znojmo—then dips into Vienna for its imperial heart—before curving back through Mikulov and the Lednice–Valtice UNESCO landscape (including an interior tour of Lednice Chateau) and returning to Prague. Expect landmark walking tours, relaxed tastings, and scenic drives—all with an English-speaking local guide and comfortable minivan transport.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome to Prague

Arrive, settle into central Prague, and enjoy a relaxed welcome evening.

Today’s experience:

  • Arrival in Prague; check in to your central hotel.
  • Evening orientation with your Tour Director and welcome dinner.
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Prague.

Day 2 – Prague’s UNESCO Heart & Vltava Cruise

Explore the historic core from Wenceslas Square to Old Town, then enjoy a relaxing river cruise.

Today’s experience:

  • Guided walk: National Museum, Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Pařížská street.
  • Boat cruise on the Vltava River with classic city views.
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Prague.

Day 3 – Left Bank Icons: Charles Bridge & Prague Castle

Cross Charles Bridge and tour Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, then stroll the Lesser town.

Today’s experience:

  • Walk across Charles Bridge to Malá Strana (Lesser Town).
  • Guided visit: Prague Castle courtyards and St. Vitus Cathedral; stroll Kampa Island and the Lennon Wall.

Day 4 – Karlovy Vary: Colonnades & Crystal

Spend the day in Karlovy Vary: stroll the colonnades, taste the hot springs, see Moser crystal, and sample Becherovka.

  • Transfer to Karlovy Vary (approx. 1.5 h). Stroll the spa colonnades and taste thermal springs (Vřídlo).
  • Visit the Moser glassworks
  • Evening return to Prague.

Day 5 – Pilsen Brewery & UNESCO Village Holašovice → Český Krumlov

Learn how lager was born at Pilsner Urquell, pause at UNESCO-listed Holašovice, and continue to Český Krumlov.

Today’s experience:

  • Morning transfer to Pilsen; tour Pilsner Urquell brewery and sample unfiltered beer from oak barrels.
  • Afternoon stop at Holašovice (UNESCO) to admire Peasant Baroque architecture.
  • Continue to Český Krumlov.
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Český Krumlov.

Day 6 – Český Krumlov: Castle & River Town (UNESCO)

Take a relaxed walk through Český Krumlov and its castle grounds

Today’s experience:

  • Walking tour: cobblestone lanes, main square, castle courtyards and gardens.
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Český Krumlov.

Day 7 – Telč (UNESCO) & Znojmo Wine Tasting

Admire Telč’s arcaded square, enjoy Moravian wines in Znojmo

Today’s experience:

  • Guided walk through Telč’s UNESCO‑listed main square with arcaded Renaissance and Baroque houses; view the château.
  • Continue to Znojmo: town walk and evening wine tasting of regional varietals.

Day 8 – Vienna: Imperial City Walk

Follow a graceful, city-center arc of Vienna’s imperial gems—from the State Opera and Albertina along Kärntner Straße to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, across the Graben and Kohlmarkt to the Hofburg and Michaelerplatz, before concluding with a Ringstraße panorama and a quiet pause in Stadtpark.

Today’s experience:

  • Vienna State Opera & Albertina (exteriors).
  • Walk along Kärntner Straße to St. Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom) (interior time permitting).
  • Continue via Graben with the Pestsäule (Plague Column) → Kohlmarkt → Michaelerplatz (Looshaus) → Hofburg courtyards & Spanish Riding School (exteriors).
  • Short stroll to Am Hof and Judenplatz (memorial & museum).
  • Walk to Heldenplatz → Maria-Theresien-Platz (exteriors of the Kunsthistorisches & Naturhistorisches Museums).
  • Ringstraße: Parliament → City Hall (Rathaus) → Burgtheater → University of Vienna; time permitting, brief stop at MuseumsQuartier or Karlskirche.
  • Finish at Stadtpark (Johann Strauss monument).
  • Transfer back to Znojmo in the late afternoon/evening.
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Znojmo.

Day 9 – Mikulov & Lednice (South Moravia)

Today’s experience:

  • Morning transfer Znojmo→ Mikulov (≈50 minutes).
  • Mikulov old town walk: main square, château exteriors
  • Short drive to Lednice (≈25 min).
  • Guided interior tour of Lednice Chateau + stroll through palace gardens.
  • Late afternoon return to Prague
  • Accommodation: Overnight in Prague

Day 10 – Departure

Today’s experience:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

With a total of 68 rooms, Hotel La Fenice is located in the elegant residential district of Royal Vinohrady, featuring typical Art Nouveau façades, tree-lined boulevards, and cozy cafés.

Český Krumlov - Hotel u Malého Vítka

The Hotel U Malého Vítka is located in the heart of the Old Town in Český Krumlov on one of its oldest streets – Radniční ulice. A 7-minute walk to the castle and less than a minute to the town square. The hotel was created by joining three burgher houses together. All three houses still stand on their Gothic foundations; two of them have Baroque Classicist façades while the third still bears its original Gothic appearance with a portal from the later 15th century. 

Znojmo - Hotel Mariel

The Mariel Hotel is a comfortable three star hotel. It has a very advantageous location in the centre of the town of Znojmo, near the transit road Prague-Brno-Vienna and Retz, therefore it is easily accessible for our guests.
