How would a guest describe you after spending a few days traveling with you?
Communicative person, I enjoy talking about everything, especially about how ordinary Czech people live, as well as Czech culture, history, and architecture.
What made you fall in love with Czechia — or keep falling back in love with it?
Growing up in the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, naturally fills you with a strong feeling for its architecture and history. Being a pretty much outdoor person, it never gets old to discover new beautiful places in the Czech mountains and its deep forests.
What does being a host mean to you when traveling with guests?
Showing guests my personal favorite places like unique buildings, as well as restaurants and small coffee places, feels automatic, but it still makes me proud of what the Czech Republic has to offer.
Can you share a moment from a journey that really stayed with you?
Over the years working as a guide, I have kept in touch with some of my clients and even hung out with some of them while visiting their country. Building new friendships while exploring the Czech Republic is what makes me love my job.
How do you know when it’s time to slow down — or simply stay a little longer?
In my free time, I love sports, outdoor activities, and working on my farm, but sometimes I just prefer to relax and have a lazy day—read a book, watch a movie, or just simply do nothing. That said, I understand that even though I aim to show you as much as possible, sometimes it is a good idea to slow down depending on a guest's mood/need.
What’s a small, everyday Czech moment you love sharing with guests?
What else do we do daily besides eating? So I make sure you try my favorite Czech meals, snacks (wine, beer), hoping that they become your favorites too.
If guests remember just one feeling from your tour, what do you hope it will be?
I hope my guests get "infected" by my passion for architecture and history, as well as that they will have someone who they can reach out to if they ever come back to the Czech Republic.
